Daniel Sáez is a distinguished professional dancer originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, currently a principal artist with the Mauro Ballet Company of Puerto Rico.
He received rigorous classical training at the Academia de Julie Mayoral, and honed his craft through summer intensives with Eglevsky Ballet in New York, Point Park College, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. As a celebrated ambassador of Puerto Rican artistry, Daniel has also excelled in Latin dance: representing Sabor Latino, he performed at the Chicago Salsa Congress, Palma de Mallorca Festival, various European salsa congresses, and won World Champion in the World Salsa Open with partner Licelott Maldonado.
In addition to his performance career, Daniel teaches at the Guaynabo City Ballet School, choreographs for student showcases, and regularly serves as guest faculty at intensive programs across the U.S., including engagements with Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet and Greater York Ballet in York, PA.
